ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this community service is to
provide information on how to maximize natural resources located in Pamulang
which is an area that has considerable potential in producing fruit, but has
not been utilized optimally by farmers, most of the jwnis produced are directly
sold raw only in the form of fruit without being processed by them. This is due
to the lack of innovation from the local community. Therefore, the processing
of pineapple fruit, one of which can be done by packing pineapple fruit in a
plastic zipper, is intended to extend the shelf life of the fruit, maintain
nutritional value, and increase the economic value of the fruit. With this
processing empowerment, it is hoped that it can help improve the village
economy and utilize pineapple raw materials which are more durable to bring up
various innovations in processed fruit in a sustainable manner.

INTRODUCTION
The
people of South Tangerang still do not understand the cultivation and
utilization of natural resources (Kusumaningsih et al.,
2018). Errors in determining raw materials in the manufacture
of natural resources and a lack of understanding for managing natural resources
(Ferawati & Rahmadan,
2020).
Something
that is in the element of society must always teach human life in filling their
lives, that is, struggling seriously is the most important thing in life by
providing benefits to others (Septanta et al., 2022). life teaches its adherents to help each other, to meet
their basic needs, of course. Those who have such a situation include the
middle to lower class society who should be cared for by the state and become a
shared moral responsibility as citizens of Indonesia, of course (Wibisono et al., 2021).
Currently
there is still a corona virus that can spread quickly and infect easily all age
groups (Natalia et al., 2020). This virus infects from one human to another both
through the air and close/close contact with infected patients (Sugiharto, 2012). General symptoms caused by this disease are fever,
cough, difficulty breathing, headache, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting (Levani et al., 2021). Seeing the pattern of spread of the Corona Virus which
is very fast and there is no medicine that can cure this disease, precautions
are needed (Pantur et al., 2022).
The
government has promoted a healthy lifestyle by implementing the use of masks,
washing hands with soap, applying coughing/sneezing ethics, and avoiding crowds
(Pongkot et al., 2022). Another thing that needs to be of concern to the public
in order to avoid this virus is to maintain the body's immune system by
consuming nutritious foods that contain vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (Sibuea, 2021). The body's metabolic process will take place well if
the nutrients are absorbed properly, this is where vitamins play a role (Terapan, 2022). Meanwhile, the body's immune system will be
strengthened by minerals that act as coenzymes and cofactors as well as
antioxidants. This will determine the condition of the patient infected with
the virus. In general, if a person's immune system is strong, there is no need
for special treatment for this virus because the virus is self-medication (Abdullah et al., 2021).
By
looking at the data on the spread of the corona virus in Indonesia so quickly
reaching all regions, Pamulang University is taking a joint role with the
government and the community to jointly overcome this outbreak. Communities in
remote areas, most of their lives are limited and concerned, due to the lack of
human resources and information obtained. Therefore our helping hand as brothers
and sisters is of course very meaningful, not only with sympathy, but there
needs to be real action by providing educational assistance, material or in the
form of property (Sama’Iradat Tito et al.,
2021). Even though this assistance is not sufficient to meet
all their needs, at least it can give them a zest for life, that the essence of
an education is for the benefit of a just and prosperous people. That our
responsibility is to have concern for them (Warnasih et al., 2020).
Based
on this background, we from the Community Service Program Team (PKM) at
Pamulang University (UNPAM), consisting of 3 lecturers and 3 students, are
called to participate and help solve problems faced by the community. The title

Natural resources are all contents
contained in the biosphere, as a potential source of energy, both hidden in the
lithosphere (soil), hydrosphere (water) and atmosphere (air) which can be used
to fulfill human needs directly or indirectly. Herman (Purba et al., 2020) states that: Natural Resources are resources that are
formed due to natural forces, for example land, water and waters, biodata, air
and space, minerals, landscapes, geothermal and natural gas, wind , tides and
ocean currents. So natural resources are everything that exists around humans
that is not made by humans, and that is found on the surface of the earth,
whether it is in the soil, sea or water and in the air, which can be utilized
to meet the needs of humans and other organisms directly. or indirectly. According
to their nature, natural resources can be divided into 3, namely as renewable
natural resources Animals, plants, microbes, water and soil. It is called
renewable because it can reproduce and has the power to regenerate (recover).
Non-renewable natural resources, for
example: oil, natural gas, coal and other mining materials. Natural resources
that are not exhausted, for example air, sun, tidal energy, ocean energy and
deep water hydrological cycle. Based on Potential According to the potential
use, natural resources are divided into several types, including material
natural resources; are natural resources that are utilized in their physical
form. For example, stone, iron, gold, wood, cotton fiber, glass, and roselle.
Energy natural resources; is a
natural resource that is used as a source of energy. For example coal, oil,
natural gas, waterfalls, sunlight, tidal energy, and windmills. Examples of
natural resources that can be utilized as a source of waterfall energy.
Space natural resources; is a natural
resource in the form of space or a place to live, for example the area of
land (land) and space Waterfall is a potential energy resource
for electricity generation. Expanse of land is a spatial resource
Based on its type, natural resources
are divided into two as natural resources non-biological (abiotic); also called
physical natural resources, namely natural resources in the form of inanimate
objects. Such as minerals, land, water, and windmills.
Biotic biological natural resources
are also called natural resources in the form of living things. For example:
animals, plants, microbes, and humans. Various Natural Resources and Their
Utilization After you study the classification of natural resources, examples
of natural resources that can be utilized include (Walujo, 2017) Sources of food and medicine. biological and vegetable
natural resources. For example, biological and vegetable natural resources
derived from plants and animals, examples for food sources include livestock,
various tubers, various types of seeds and so on.
Meanwhile, sources of medicines
include ginger, lempuyang, pasak bumi, galangal, and so on. Sources of Energy
Energy can be used in everyday life, for example for cooking, drying clothes,
lighting and so on. Energy used in everyday life comes from energy sources.
Energy sources are natural resources whose energy can be utilized Those
originating from the ground, for example oil, natural gas, coal, those
originating from the air, for example the sun, wind, water can be used to
generate electricity, those derived from biomass, for example wood, twigs,
other substances starch, sugar and gums derived from plants and others.
CONCLUSION
The
conclusion in this community service is that the entire Pamulang community in
South Tangerang and the Pamulang orphanage can continue to learn quality
entrepreneurship for consumption and in running their business. All actors in
the South Tangerang Pamulang community can be capable or observant in eyeing
business opportunities and can overcome the challenges of running their
business.
